Welcome to the Youthie!
The Nowra Youth Centre also known as NYC The Youthie is a not-for-profit organisation and our purpose is to engage with all young people in our community who are at risk of becoming isolated from the community and services available to them.
We support young people aged 12-24yrs by providing advocacy, referrals and information pathways in a safe and non-judgement environment at the Nowra Youth Centre, this is a youth specific space where young people can come, engage in programs and activities or just to relax and call their own, the program and activities we provide promote and educate young people on a variety of topics such as: healthy lifestyle choices, healthy relationships, anti-bullying, cooking program (when funding is available), art & craft and our school holiday programs that include excursions to local attractions just to name a few, these programs and activities are FREE of charge and we welcome all young people in our community.

Nowra Youth Centre is open to ALL young people aged 12 to 24 years.
A safe and non-judgemental place to relax and call their own, to have a chat or choose from one of our activities on offer

• Meeting Room with Kitchenette and air-conditioning
• Drop in Space – air-conditioned
• Internet Café
• Bus Usage – 12 Seater Auto Drivers must have Full Licence

Drop in program
Our Drop In Program at the Nowra Youth Centre is a safe place for young people 12 to 17 years to socialise with friends, have fun and to meet new people.
Come in and meet our Youth workers and join in with our programs on offer:
• Pool Table
• Table Tennis
• Internet café
• Various programs such as Art & Craft
• Cooking
• School Holiday Program Activities
